FFO Name: Gold Needle "Cures Stone." Price: 800 / 500 Soft potions cure the Stone status. They become important starting at the Earth Cave when coctrices become common. There is a SOFT spell that does the same thing, but it is too expensive to really be worth it. Unfortunately they can NOT be used in battle with the DRINK command like the heal and pure potions. They are available in only 2 item shops: Elfland Onrac In the Japanese version a Soft Potion is called a Golden Needle. I don't know the significance of the name. As far as I know, these things return in every later Final Fantasy and I believe they are translated as Soft in every official English FF other than FFO. ITEMS HOME
