They're pretty ho-hum. :) MYTH/ORIGIN/OTHER GAMES These are called Hyeanodon in the Japanese version, and spelled Hyenadon in FF Origins. According to the AD&D Monstrous Manual, hyeanodons are giant hyenas. Hyenas are large dog-like carnivores that live in Asia and Africa. They are most well known for their high pitched howl which sounds like laughing. They don't appear in any later FFs. ENEMIES HOME
