INFO
Ghosts only appear in groups together, and only in the Sea Shrine.
STRATEGY
Ghosts are big horrible nasties who can beat the snot out of unprepared parties. You can't run from them, so keep your HP up while you're in the Sea Shrine. Pull out all the stops and use your FIR3 and other Fire and Harm spells.
MYTH/ORIGIN/OTHER GAMES
Ghosts are called the same thing in every version. They are the souls or spirits of formerly living people. Other words for ghost include specter, spirit, spook, phantom, and apparition. In Dungeons & Dragons, they are undead creatures who hate the living, whose sight can cause terror, and whose touch can cause premature aging. Ghosts of some kind can be found in every FF (except possibly 3) and specifically named ghost in FF2, FF6, FF7, FF9, FF10, FF11, and Mystic Quest.
