The Dragon category is one of the six that are recognized in the US enemy chart and NP strategy guide. Nothing much special about it, snakes may not be dragons, but they're close enough.
Anyway, the significance of the Dragon category is that the Dragon Sword (Wyrm Killer) and Excalibur have a greater effect on them. This of course only applies to the WSC/PS versions.
