There are a couple of ways to get to the castle. One is quicker, one is safer.

This is the normal place to park.

It's actually possible to get here as soon as you have the canoe. Going this way avoids a lot of the dangerous enemies here.

Catmen are pretty common here. A big group can cause some heavy damage and you'll likely end up poisoned.

Watch out for these baddies. Saurias can turn you to stone, and Sand Worms can kill you with their Crack attack.
