Oh, so you're Astos. Good, because I figured if anyone knew where to find a hooker it'd be you.

First he's bossy and now a fight? I'm starting to think Mr. Dark Elf here isn't such a nice guy. One of the first things he'll do is cast RUB on someone. Have everyone who can cast MUTE do so and repeat until it works. Astos is a big pansy if he can't cast spells. Being a perfectionist, I would always reset if he managed to kill someone. (You did save outside, didn't you?) Next, cast FAST on your fighting characters, especially Fighters. Then cast any powerful spells you have like FIR2 and LIT2. While all of this is going on, your fighting characters should be, well, fighting! For a party of 4 White Mages first have everyone cast MUTE, use RUSE or INVS on everyone, then pound the crap out of him. It will be an easy, yet very, very long fight.

Wait a minute. If Astos is supposed to be the king of dark elves, why is he weaker than the dark elves you fight later on in the game? Anywho, you have the crystal now so haul ass to Matoya's Cave.
